Like all rogue bushing bars the ohio deadlift bar includes sleeves with a quality snap ring construction far superior to the cheaply produced bolt and pin style sleeves of some other brands. There is no center knurl. The powerlifting knurl marks on this bar are a bit deeper more aggressive than our ohio power bar but machined in the same pattern. The thinner bar shaft also contributes greatly to the feeling of grip security.

The 20kg bar has a shaft diameter of 27mm. The bar evaluated for this review is bare steel. The okie was the first deadlift bar made to these kind of specs originally sold as the oklahoma deadlift bar in 1984. The ohio deadlift bar has been specially designed for deadlifting.

It comes in both bare steel and a bright zinc or black zinc finish. With a diameter of 27mm and 190k psi tensile strength it bends more than the ohio bar. Ohio deadlift bar knurl the knurl on the ohio deadlift is just a hint more aggressive than the standard ohio power bar. The ohio deadlift bar is knurled all the way to the sleeves while the texas deadlift bar has knurl that stops about 8 short of the sleeves. The bar weighs 20kg and the sleeves spin via bushing rather than bearing. The shaft is built to a tensile strength of 190k psi and the same bronze bushings are used inside the sleeves. The rogue deadlift bar is 90 5 inches in length overall with 15 5 inch sleeves. The rogue ohio deadlift cerakote bar in a red finish the materials used in the deadlift bar are very similar to those used in the power bar.
